I went to Spün last night around 7:45 and it was closed. Does anyone know why? Has it closed permanently?

It was weird because there were no signs saying why and it's normally open every day noon to 11pm.

EDIT 2:34 I just drove by and the curtains were still down, though I couldn't tell if the closed sign was still up.

Businesses that don't keep consistent and posted hours aren't going to be businesses very long.

Except for that guy who runs the antique/junk shop (maybe it's a front BUT I DIDN'T SAY THAT) out of the painted greenhouse on Mass Ave. Yeah, I know antique dealers can keep appointment-only if they so choose, but the handwritten note used to say something like "Open when I feel like it."

That's a plum piece of real estate that the junk shop is on, too. I wonder how long he can keep doing that.

He owns the building and doesn't want to sell, so he can keep doing it as long as he feels like it.

I love the idea of owning a business that is only open when I feel like it, but not quite so much the idea of needing or wanting to patronize a business that is only open when the owner feels like it. :-}
