VHS to DVD Conversion

I'd like to convert 5-7 personal VHS tapes to DVD as I don't have a VCR.  I don't need any of the bells and whistles but just want to preserve the tapes. 

Are there any local businesses or anyone in the Davis Square community that can do this at a reasonable price ($10/tape or less )?

Yes, or who works at an institution with a media services dept. For instance, Harvard Business School has one that performs many services for their students as well as for profs.
