Post wedding brunch

Hello, we are looking for ideas of where to hold a brunch on a Sunday after a Saturday wedding.    Ideally somewhere in the greater Somerville/Cambridge area.    Obviously many of our favorite brunch places are already packed on Sunday mornings and/or don't have an appropriate space for that type of gathering.

I echo chanaleh's suggestion of Sabur. Their brunch is delicious, and unlike a lot of other places, they never seem to be crowded. (But of course you should still call ahead to warn them if you're bringing a crowd.)

+1. We did our rehearsal dinner there in the bar area and it was great. And their brunch menu is tasty!

Sabur is great. I had a party catered by them a while ago, and they sent extra food. For this type of situation, you'd definitely be making a reservation and dealing with catering, not just showing up with a ton of people and wanting a table.

I have to say, though, that every post-wedding brunch I've attended has been at the hotel where the majority of out-of-town guests are staying. If you don't have out-of-town guests or aren't reserving a block of rooms, that changes things, but I do think there's something to be said for being able to stumble downstairs the next morning and have brunch right there, especially on a Sunday when a lot of people have to leave to get home. I've actually never attended a brunch for a local wedding and think of it as an event that people tend to have for out-of-town guests. Food for thought, I guess (no pun intended).
