It took me quite some time to stop being surprised that I could get good beer at Mike's, and for $2.50 (okay, now $2.75) if it's on their current specials list. They also have a pretty impressive bar, but I generally just get a beer and fries (or o-rings).

Also, I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who doesn't dig the hang-out-at-the-coffeehouse thing. Whenever I do, I always feel like I should go somewhere and do SOMETHING.
