McCain/Palin rally, tonight, Davis Square

Hello all,

At 7:00 PM tonight please come out tonight to support the only experienced ticket in this election season. McCain/Palin. We expect over one hundred people to come out to Davis Square to help paint Massachusetts Red.

Drill Baby Drill,

Jared

It is an unspoken rule that we do not f**k with Ron Newman.

Plus, even if the OP is a troll, maybe this will still inspire local Republicans to meet-up. If I were organizing this, however, I'd give a lot more than 4 hours notice.

Holding a political rally doesn't and shouldn't require any "notice to the city", unless the rally is going to block public streets. First Amendment, etc.

You could fit well over 100 people into the plaza without blocking anything.

if the city tried to oppress this it would be more proof that liberals only care about civil rights and the Constitution when it serves their (liberal) agenda.

I think the word you want is 'suppress', but I agree, your event should occur without interference provided that it doesn't block traffic.
