Yeah, it's quite different. Waffle House (http://www.wafflehouse.com/) is a southern staple, more saturated in some areas than Dunkin Donuts or even Starbucks can imagine. There are six Waffle Houses within walking distance from my uncle's house in Brentwood, TN, and that's considered standard. It's diner food specializing in waffles and omlettes, and the waffles are amazing in the fast-food kind of way. Unfortunately, it's pretty strictly a southern thing; the nearest one (http://hosted.where2getit.com/wafflehouse/index.html?form=locator_search&search=Search+Maps&addressline=02143) is in PA.
