Power adapter for a G4 Mac Laptop

Does anyone have a power adapter for a iBook G4 mac laptop lying around? My current one just broke and judging from the sea of macs at Diesel, I'm guessing there are a decent number of mac users in the Davis area. So if you've upgraded and don't need it anymore, I will gladly take it off your hands! If you want a couple bucks thrown your way, that wouldn't be a problem. I've checked online, and I could probably order one from amazon or off ebay for $20 or less, so I'd rather not spend more than that.

I will gladly come to your place to pick it up, as long as it's reasonable distance from a train or bus.

In the past, I've brought my broken power adapter to the Apple store and gotten a new one for free. I'm never convinced its going to work, but I was successful both times I tried - including the time I needed to get the older type of adapter after the new maglock adapters came out.

You've gotten one for free at the Apple store? Oh my word, I had to dish out 80 bucks when I broke mine. How did you managed that? Was there flirting involved?

Haha - no, I just went in and talked to them. I'm not sure if they only replace for certain reasons...the first one I returned had caught on fire and literally had scorch marks on it, so I had no problems replacing that one. The second one had stopped charging well and shortly before it stopped charging at all, I swear I saw it starting to smoke. So generally, I've just gone in and said, "I'm worried my power adapter is going to explode and kill me. Can I have a new one?"

Hahaha! The killer Power Adapter would not be good marketing for Apple...
