Tufts Campus power outtage.

So parts of the Tufts Campus doesn't have power due to "Manhole fires in Medford. Uncertain time for restoration of power - minimum 8-10 hours. "

"Classes may not be held in unpowered buildings. Supervisors may dismiss staff if no power"

But my question is, does anyone know how far out this goes? Will my house in Powderhouse Square likely have power? I live just over the border in Medford.

So, anyone know?

I can confirm that Pearson Rd has power. That's pretty close to Tufts at the Somerville/Medford border.

Somerville has power, even up to the parts of College Ave that are near the Somerville/Medford line. On the other side of the train tracks seems to have power now. Most of Tufts' main campus is still without power.

We're in Medford Square, and we've had power back since noon or so.

I'm on Harvard St near the intersection with Main (towards Boston Ave), and we are apparently still without power.

yeah, everything in that area is without power once you're in Medford. It sucks. The most recenty info I got was that power might not be restored untul late at night. My house is already cold, so I had to leave ;(

I just got a NatGrid robocall saying "restored between 10 PM and 2 AM".

I don't know whether I'm affected, though. (Medford, but south of the tracks.) What time did things start failing? I got a power flicker this morning, roughly 10:20 AM; it was momentary but I haven't been home since then.

I live near Boston Ave on one of the streets behind the gymnasium. I'm at work, but I just called home and they said they're still without power.
