Cat food dontations

Hey everyone-

I have lots of dry and wet  cat food that my persnickety feline is not interested in.  I'm sick of it hanging around, and I want it gone!  Does anyone want this stuff, or can someone direct me to a shelter that I can donate to?  I can get details if needed, but it's all various and fairly high-end stuff.  Money down the litter box, as they say.

The Pet supplies Plus in Wellington Circle has a box by the front door for food donations to the Kitty Connection fostering/adoption network.

Saint Meow's (http://www.saintmeows.com/donation.html) on College Avenue is asking for food donations.

Ask at your vet's

When this sort of thing has happened to me, I've called my vet, and they've always either had a relationship with an organization, or the tech who answers the phone volunteers at one. In either case, I drop it off at their office.

You've gotten some good Davis-specific suggestions here, but I suggest this thinking it might help you (or someone else) in the future when you're not living here.

is 'dontation' a portmanteau?
