Biking Community?

I know Somerville has a huge biking community and am trying to do some research on that (the memories are all pretty old). I'm in the midst of my first bike purchase but would love to know more about community events, rides, groups, websites, etc about biking in and around the area (I live in Davis). Thanks!

We don't do much with 'memories' here in davis_square but we have lots of posts with the bicycle tag.
