Either they don't spend any time outside, or they simply have no desire to improve the standard of living in their own neighborhood. Sadly, probably both.

Hey there, thanks for the judgment! Actually, it has more to do with the fact that a) this has been explained before, and b) growing up under a flight path, I manage to tune it out pretty well. Of course, that doesn't mean I haven't reported extra noise when there was a line to do so through the city. However, I tend to refrain from complaining aboutit on this blog, for all of the reasons stated above.
