State Education Commissioner recommends rejecting Somerville Progressive Charter School application

The Massachusetts Commissioner of Education has recommended that the Somerville Progressive Charter School's application be rejected by the state Board of Elementary and Secondary Education. The Board will vote on February 28.

This charter school proposal was the subject of a very contentious debate here in [livejournal.com profile] davis_square two months ago.
