Please post your own event announcements here, instead of asking moderators to do so
In the last few months, I've received a variety of e-mails and private messages asking me to post event announcements here in ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
davis_square. Other moderators may be receiving these requests as well.
Please don't do this. A LiveJournal account is free, and any LiveJournal account holder can join thedavis_square community. I think it's also possible for Facebook accounts to join this community, but I don't know quite how that works.
Once you're a member ofdavis_square, you can post whatever you want, provided it has some relevance to either the Davis Square area or Somerville. Moderators do not screen either memberships or posts in advance.
