Call for neighborliness.

The folks who live in the big building on the corner of Liberty and Kidder on the even numbered side of Liberty are older and unable to shovel themselves out. A former neighbor used to kindly snow-blow for them, but that neighbor is gone. I just cleared the Liberty street piece from the corner to my place, but if anyone can do the Kidder end, and/or help out tomorrow, I think we would all be doing a very good deed.

Where are the building owners?

Okay, first off hurray for fabulous neighborliness, and for folks clearing sidewalks. You guys rock!

But I'm wondering, are you speaking of a private home owned and lived in by elderly? Or of that large Liberty Apartment brick building with lots of units?

My household also shovels the sidewalk for the woman who lives alone next door to us. That just seems right. But if it's that large building, they have a property management and can't be taking people's rent money without also providing for clearing the sidewalks can they? I mean legally or ethically?

Again, yay for neighborliness, though.

Cool, thanks. Glad I asked for clarification; I was really confused.
