An elderly woman (most reports say 91 years old) was hit by a FedEx truck at the corner of Dover and Elm streets:

I think it was a media helicopter, possibly from WBZ, which has posted aerial photos.

I hope she's okay, and it sounds like they're still learning about the circumstances surrounding the accident. Some folks on Twitter suggested she was lying down in the street, but that is, of course, unconfirmed. I'm surprised there aren't more pedestrian accidents at that intersection. I see close calls there at least once a week.
