The place over on Somerville Ave uses both jets of water and pushing the car through a series of cloth dangly bits. Although I hear that Very Serious Car People much prefer brushless wash, because you don't have the grit from the previous car dragged over your paint job.

Personally I'd suggest that you take it over to basically any shop and prepare to fork over extra money for the detail/handwash service. You'll leave it with them for an hour or so and they'll clean and polish it inside and out. I know that Very Serious Car People have strong preferences about which place does the Very Best detail service, but if you're just looking for "My filthy car needs a good serious cleaning" any place can do that just fine and it'll look great.

Or if you'd rather save fifty bucks, go to one of the self-serve bays and DIY. Bring some of your own rags to supplement the brush from the self-service bay. It'll help if you do it on a weekday instead of a sunny weekend day - that way there's less of a line).
