I don't know if there's anything to be done specifically by Somerville as far as the whole "sexist louts are lout-like", but I'm really quite disappointed to hear that the SPD wasn't very helpful. I don't know if the Women's Comission is still active (10 seconds of searching doesn't find anything recent about them on the city website), but I don't know if any of this aspect of things would fall into their baliwick.
