as a woman in Somerville, I have gone out of my way to avoid powder house park at all times except in broad daylight when there are numbers of other people there doing innocuous things.

there are several quite loud, quite aggressive people that frequent the area, and since my first inclination is *not* to pacify loud aggressive people, I avoid the place altogether.
