Electronics Repair Shop?

I have an old video camera that I bought on Ebay some time ago. It needs what I think is a small repair. (I don't have the Ebay transaction info, so nothing I can do there.) Can anyone recommend a repair shop in the area (T accessible) to which I should take it? Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, repairing a video camera is kind of like taking a goldfish to the vet: You can get it fixed, but it is often much cheaper to get it replaced, rather than repaired.

Buying something so complicated as a video camera from eBay just makes the problem worse. It probably didn't come with a warranty - and may have even been broken when you bought it. I hate to say it, but it looks like you got taken.

If you really want to try to get this thing fixed, I can recommend Walcott's Sales and Service in Arlington. I used to work with the main service guy's son in law. They fixed my VCR cheap - I don't know if they'll do video cameras, though.

Walcott's Sales and Service
144 Mystic St
Arlington MA 02474-1150
781-648-7570

Take the 77 bus up mass Ave and get off in Arlington Center at Rt. 60 (aka Rt 2 and Rt. 3). Turn right on to Rt. 3 Walk about 6/10 of a mile and Walcott's is on your left behind the Gulf station. Go in service door in the back.

Good Luck
