9-11 Memorial pics

Twas suggested to me that people might like to see some photos I took last fall of the spontaneous memorial that appeared literally overnight on the Davis Square compass rose after the terrorist attacks, and which the city finally swept up just recently. (The last time I checked, last week, it had all been replaced by a big placard signed by the mayor.)

(I think the davis_square's full group name should be "Mayor Dorothy Kelly Gay Presents: the Davis Square Community's LiveJournal")

Thanks. I was going through all posts that I had earlier tagged as "local landscape" to see if I should add a "photo" tag as well.
