Bomb Threat at the Kennedy School?

I got into work this morning (at a Cambridge business) to find an automated message on the machine regarding a bomb threat at The Kennedy School in Somerville. (I probably ignored this call to my home phone this morning, because I was asleep at 8am-something when it came through). I'm guessing this is the JFK school in West Somerville, near Porter?

They went into lockdown and the building has been swept. They're conducting classes, but there will be a police presence all day. They think the threat came from a student. Anyone have any more data?

I got the call too, even though I'm just listed for emergencies for my nephew, and he's at the Brown Achool.

Does lockdown mean locking all the exits with the students still inside (as I've heard it used when dangerous criminals are on the run)?

From Somerville Journal online; There was no weapon at the Kennedy School

That's so weird. I live next door and didn't notice anything going on all morning OR when finally left home and walked right by the school just before 11am.

The info available this morning was that a call was made stating that there was a firearm inside the building. Those already inside were locked down in classrooms with teachers. Those arriving were kept outside. The building was swept, nothing was found, they suspect the call was made by a student. The police would remain at the school all day.

According to the Somerville News, the juvenile who made a call this morning reporting firearms inside the Kennedy School has been arrested.
