New shop on College Ave
I hope I haven't missed a post raving about it, already, but has anyone been into the neat little shop that just opened near Deli-icious and the chinese place on College Ave, yet? They look like they have some amazingly unique crafts and doodads!

- Me (pointing to a particular item of her store furniture):
- I don't suppose this is for sale
- Her:
- No. You're like the third person to ask about that.
- Me:
- Well, it's cool. And it would be useful.
- Her:
- A lot of people seem to want things that are useful...
It seems to have come as a genuine surprise to her that people would be more interested in the useful-and-decorative than the purely decorative, and she mentioned that one of her (apparently very few so far) sales had been of a stool she was using as a display table. She seemed willing to roll with it, and said she's planning to focus more on usefulness in her buying. I think if she can find the right mix of stuff, the shop has the potential to be a nice addition to the Square's ecosystem.Re: I have like twenty of those

She said that she's going to be stocking more vintage t-shirts and men's vintage clothes -- or at least t-shirts with vintage iron-ons applied to them. She's just starting out and very open to suggestions.
