Free sandwiches today at Deli-icious

According to the Somerville Journal blog, Deli-icious is giving away free sandwiches today, starting at 11 am, "While Supplies Last" (whatever that means).

Deli-icious is on College Avenue across from the T station.

you're awesome, ron! why would they do this? i'm leaving at 1045am :) I'm not working this summer so any way to get something free is AWESOME.

I don't know how they can do it -- it takes 20 minutes to get a sandwich in there normally -- let us know how it goes.

maybe they will have a system set in place or something, maybe you can only get a certain type of sandwhich.

That's going to have to be it. Hey, if they're handing out roast beef sandwiches, I'll consider a looksee.

The punchline would be if they had supplies for, like, 5 sandwiches.

i got there as one of the first few people, i left and the line was already past the real estate company thats next to it. I have a feeling supplies will go pretty quickly.

roast beef, turkey and something else. plus it came with chips! Pretty good deal. You could have a selection of condiments, only american cheese and lettuce/tomato.

It was:

roast beef
turkey
ham & cheese

with toppings of your choice from:

lettuce
tomatoes
onions
mayo
mustard

And it comes with chips.

The line was out the door when I was there, but I was in and out in under 20 minutes. The ordering line was completely gone by the time I left.

we just got sandwiches, and waited probably less than 10 minutes total... the line was out the door, but not past their front window.

Damn, too bad I didn't read this before I walked to the T.
