A man, walking from the Davis T towards the bike path, around 11:30 AM today.
He is reading a book as he walks.

Trips over the box covering the high voltage wires.

"Damnit! People could get killed!"

See, if you're gonna do the literambulation thing, you've gotta develop good peripheral vision. There's no other way to do it.

Once while literambulating, I looked up just in time to not walk into a phone pole.

Then saw a guy across the way, who had clearly been watching me, snap his fingers in disappointment. Gee thanks, buddy. :-)

I humbly propose "librambulating", which I believe is less likely to be mistaken to mean tossing candy wrappers on the ground while walking.
