Comcast update

Just in case I freaked anyone out with my post the other day about not getting a signal on my Comcast cable TV, I am here to expose my own incompetence to set your mind at ease. ;) It turns out that Comcast disconnected my service for nonpayment. I had made the payment, but apparently it got there too late. I fail.

On the plus side, now we're going to find out how long the kids and I can last without cable! ;)

If you have rabbit ears, you might be able to pick up some channels without cable. You can tell your kids that this is what life was like back in the olden days.

That's useful information, so thanks for letting us know that it was a one-household glitch, not a larger service issue.

And sadly, it's not unusual for regular mail to be much slower than it ordinarily is during the holiday season (the two Snowmageddons probably didn't help, either!)

This is why online bill payment is a Good Thing. Especially automatic monthly bill payment.

Is it there now? Service should resume as soon as they clear the payment. If not, harass them via customer service.

I've had to pay over the phone because I forgot to pay on time (more than once). Literally five seconds after I enter my CC info the TV comes back on.
