Looked briefly thru tags but couldn't find anything about fax machines in Davis.  I need to fax this afternoon.  But where?

But if you're faxing a document you have on the computer, and you have a USB faxmodem, you can send it yourself directly without using such a service.

Do the ad-based ones send an ad as a page before or after your fax? That could be obnoxious.

True, my latest MacBook came without a modem, so I bought a little USB one for those times that I needed to fax. On a Mac, faxing is just printing to the fax device instead of to a printer or PDF.
