Graffiti on Faces Night Club
I noticed for the first time today some graffiti on the abandoned Faces building (located on Rt. 2 just before the Alewife exit). It has a picture of a man on it and it says "OBEY" ... I don't remember very much about it as I only saw it once and couldn't look away too long while driving. Anyway, I was slightly curious if a) it is new, or has been there forever and I only just noticed it and b) it may be related to Shepard Fairey, a famous street artist associated with a popular Obama "Hope" poster, being arrested on the way to the opening of his exhibition at Boston's ICA yesterday for posting graffiti in the city. The graffiti reminded me of that poster when I saw it, so I was surprised to read it could possibly be the same artist.

It's the same artist, but *WAY* predates the anything at all to do with Obama.
