For those of you who have sold clothes to second hand stores...which is the best in the area?

I have tons of clothes I wanna get rid of. Whatever I can't sell I'll just give to goodwill.

thanks :) on b0st0n someone told me that the earliest appointment she could get was may 10th and unfortunately i'm leaving the area a couple days before and then going abroad (i'm a tufts student) for all of next year :(

Oh, I am sorry that you have time constraints like that...You might want to call and ask the store if there have been any cancellations, if you can do a mid-week, non-weekend appointment you might have some luck.

My other suggestions would really depend on what kind of things you have.

We are trend/style driven, looking for things that are just a few years old. I would give the Garment District open buy night a try, but you will not get much $$$ for your items, but if you just need to unload that might be your best bet.

If you are leaving the country, having someone buy outright will be best for you because consignment involves contracts with pickup and payment dates etc.
