Heads up!

Thought some in the area might like to know about this, RCN is jacking up costs across the board and if you'd like to maybe give up some cable, they'll still be charging you; there's now a $5 downgrade fee.

Although they're still a much better option than Comcast.

You have a blank space which breaks your link. Two of them, actually.

I didn't know that. Better to post links this way, anyway:

<a href="http://your/long/url/goes/here.html">Some descriptive text</a>

You never have to write down a URL. Right-click on the link and "Copy Link Location" on the pull-down menu.

http://consumerist.com/5221454/ works too.

And so does http://consumerist.com/5221454/RCN-wants-five-bucks-but-Comcast-eats-kittens. For example.

No, the real point is that you can put anything you want after the 5221454/ .
This works just as well: http://consumerist.com/5221454/Your_mother_wears_army_boots

I wish the original post had some clue as to what was behind the link. I gather from meta discussion here that it's something about how RCN is eating more babies but still not as many as Comcast eats.

True, posting just a link without description usually isn't useful.
