They had some serious technical glitches involving the computer and the projector, which is why the doors opened so late.

The line to get in was a mess, but understandable. I feel bad that they had such technical problems. I'm a big fan of indie/alternative comedy etc, so I was glad my 20$ went to the altcom fest and the onion. I've read the onion for years for fee so I don't feel bad for giving them my money.
However, it was kinda like 5 people reading me slides I'd already seen. The Q&A was ok, but I thought they could have answered the questions related to "how to get a job like that" better. They were certainly disorganized, so I was let down. I went to redbones after but only stayed for one beer. I talked to the Fest Director for about a min, as I'm interested in helping next year.
I went to the Found Magazine event at The Precinct in union on Saturday, that would have been cool to be part of the alt.comedy fest, plus at 5 dollars it was about 100x more entertaining.
