Sighted

To the man I saw walking along College Avenue this morning at 9:00 AM dressed in full steampunk regalia, including top hat and monocle, I just want to say thank you for contributing significant awesomeness to our neighborhood, and also to my morning's commute!

Impressive. I can hardly be convinced to put on makeup and shoes that tie, much less full anything regalia by 9am :)

Me too! In my late teens and early twenties I was an 80s proto-goth and I did full regalia, including Robert Smith whiteface, right from first waking up every day. I embarassed my mother so badly when we were in public together! Looking back, I don't know how I put so much focus and time into my clothes and appearance. Now, it's jeans, ponytail, and no makeup most days!

But the guy this morning looked fantastic. :-)

Someone who works in my office building wears Victorian-influenced suits (sort of Victorian lite), with beautiful silk brocade vests. I don't know him, but I always enjoy seeing what he wears.
