Next Wednesday, October 7th is the 8th anniversary of the war on Afghanistan., To mark this tragic date, the Cambridge and Somerville/Medford UJP community groups will be standing out at T- stops from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. We will be distributing information about the costs of the war, and alerting people to the Oct. 17th anti-war rally at Copley Square. We will gather at the Davis Sq. T-stops on Holland St., next to the cinema, at 5:30pm.

The tide is turning away from further escalation of the war on Afghanistan. It's a time when we can make a difference. Come stand with us on Oct. 7th

Look out for undercover agents. Seriously. Bring cameras and take pictures. You'd be surprised of the stuff you see in pictures of crowds that you did not notice while you were there.

I'm sure that the people of Afghanistan (especially the women and children) will be pleased as punch if we pull out, returning the Taliban to power. I'm sure they miss the Sharia law, the public beatings, cutting off of limbs, etc.
