Hair trim recs?

juldea and I both need to get our hair trimmed. We're both quite fond of our long hair, but have let damaged ends grow out for way too long, and are looking to get trims from someone who can figure out how much needs to go, but still understands the meaning of "just a trim". Once upon a time Juldea had a person named Helen at a place called Savvy who got it, but unfortunately she no longer works there.

Recommendations? Cheap is good, too.

this meets practically none of your requests, lol, but i always have to recommend sara at liquid on tremont street. a haircut is $40, but i go to no one else because it's great to be relaxed in the chair knowing she won't ruin things :p

i just got my hair cut today for the first time in a year, and wanted to keep it long but just get rid of the fuzzy bits at the end and that's exactly what she did. she's also the ONLY person to never cut bangs to short so they'll 'last longer' which really is code for 'you'll have too short awkward hair for about two or three weeks, enjoy!'
