Help! Laptop charger dead!

I have a Macintosh G4 powerbook from 2006. It works great. Unfortunately a few minutes ago the power adaptor/charger unit started to smoke. As I have limited battery I really need to have a charger at all times. A new one looks to be about $80 in the store. Does anyone have a spare I could buy off them for less than $80? What I am looking for is the old style charger with the circular plug, not the little rectangular magnetic one like on the current macbooks.

I'm planning to go get a new one after work tomorrow if I can't get one secondhand.

I have two (kept one at one and one at work) but since that's not my primary laptop anymore, I could totally sell one. Email me if you're interested.

you can find third-party ones for about $30.

there may have been a recall on those chargers. can't hurt to stop in at the genius bar.

I need one too...

Ironically, a week after reading this post I also broke my old-style Powerbook power adapter... if another kind soul had the old round type charger and no longer needed it, I would love you pay you for it instead of the Apple store (which wants $80!). Thanks!
