Parking garage, off street parking?

I have never owned a car in boston, so sorry if this is an obvious question to ask.

I have someone interested in renting my room but who has a car.  My apartment does not have parking, and this person wants off street parking.  I know there are odd spots advertised on craigslist that one can rent, but are there any garages in the area where you can rent spots?

thanks!

If you mean the big parking garages, you can rent a spot in just about all of them. Its going to cost from about $100-$450 a month depending on where you are.

If youre talking about a small privately owned garage, well, that would depend greatly on where you are, again.

So I guess it would be helpful to know where you are. Or, actually, I don't care where YOU are (unless its somewhere cool, like a steamship or the International Space Station (they have internet now)), but it would be helpful to know where the apartment in question is. Yes.

Ah, nope, dont know of any off hand. If it was Cambridge I'd have some more ideas. I saw "Boston" at the beginning of your post and I was thinking of where highland ave was in Boston. I guess posting in the davis community should have tipped me off :)
I'm sure someone here would have some leads, or keep an eye on craigslist. It has worked for me in the past. most of the spot Ive seen, and people I know who rent, spots go for $100-$00 in the Davis Area. Good luck!

My girlfriend lives in a building on highland near the Rite Aid and she rented a spot in someone's driveway off of Craigslist for $100 a month.
