Goodbye Vej Naturals, hello Pulse Café

According to a sign posted on the former Joey's Thai Café, the new vegan restaurant to open at that location will have the name Pulse Café instead of Vej Naturals.

(See last month's post and one the month before for earlier discussion of this restaurant, which used to be located in an obscure part of Malden.)

the restaurant name is somewhat misleading. Why call it pulse when they don't serve anything that ever had one?

Pulses are legumes, so that might be where they got the name.

I suspect they will too serve pulses (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulse_%28legume%29)! I'm sure they've got something on the menu containing lentils, for instance.
