Driving lessons - refresher

Can anyone recommend a driving school to get a rusty driver back on the road?  I already have a license, but I've hardly driven since moving to the Boston area 8 years ago.  Alas, I have to leave my beloved Davis Square to take a job in Oregon, and so have to get back behind the wheel. I'm comfortable driving around the block and even on Highland Ave, but I definitely need to build up confidence on >2 lane roads and highways and such.

I've seen community.livejournal.com/davis_square/959594.html and community.livejournal.com/davis_square/488930.html, but they are a bit dated.

I had very good experiences with the Arlex Driving School in Arlington. You could give them a call and ask if they'll do this sort of refreshers.

Love Driving School in Cambridge worked wonders for me.

I took my lessons and driving test through International Driving School. They're a husband and wife team. http://internationaldrivingschool.org/

Their logo is funny...

It looks like the car is about to smash the traffic light... :)

Crap, you're leaving for good?

The great MA economy, I suppose.

Oregon actually has a higher unemployment rate. Not that that has much bearing on where any one person is able to get work in their field...

Agganis Driving School was wonderful for my husband when he wanted to get more comfortable driving -- super-professional and safety-focused. We picked them because they had the highest pass rate on the driving test.

They offer a comprehensive package that takes weeks to complete, but my husband ended up taking a couple private lessons instead. We live just north of Teele Square, and the instructor picked him up at our house.
