Place to rent for small shindig

I know a lot of restaurants in the Davis/Porter area have back rooms to rent for parties etc. I am putting together a party for 30-40 people and am looking for an inexpensive but nice place to rent, hopefully with decent food included.

Any recommendations?

The Burren.

A note about the Burren: when I did this they mentioned that if you have over 50 people you aren't charged a room rental fee, but if you have under 50 then you are. Not sure if this is still the policy, but it's worth checking into. They were great to deal with.

Not sure how much it would cost but I think gargoyles rents out their back room. Worth asking.

Rent the bowling alley in Ball Square! It's cheap and you could have it catered or bring your own food.

Hi do you have contact info for the person who can rent out the bowling alley to us? I'm thinking about having my bday party there.

It depends. 30-40 adults, or 30-40 teenage girls?
