Attn: creative artsy crafty people!!!

First off, the monthly "Dark Sky" concert series in Somerville is going to 2x per month, beginning 1/6/05.

That means we're gonna have goth/industrial/EBM/dark metal/deathrock/electronica bands on the 1st AND 3rd Thursdays of every month at The Skybar.

I want to have one vendor or artist per show to display their wares/works at each show. You get to sell stuff and get your name out there!

Interested?

Why was the Redline down - Saturday, 12/18???

Hey there :
Does anyone know why the RedLine was not running for a few hours yesterday afternoon. I was in Central Square & they had to bus all everyone to their destinations. I heard some rumblings that there was a fire in Harvard station. Any info???
Thanks.

Yeah. There was a trash fire near the opening into the station on the outbound side. It must have started sometime between one train and the next because I had just missed a train and while I was waiting for the next one (about 15 minutes), I remember looking around and trying to find who was smoking in the station. When the next train pulled in, people in the train were looking into the station because they were not sure if the train was on fire or if the station was. There was tons of nasty smelling smoke and the conductor said that the FD was on their way. I figured my best bet was to get on the train since you couldn't see down into the station proper because of all of the smoke. The train left the station but the driver must have gotten sick from the smoke because when I got off at Porter, he was vomiting at the front of the train and they were calling in help for him. So I think that train didn't go anywhere, either. I think that was about 3:30?
