Wanted: Scrap window glass

One of our plays for our Tomes of Terror Halloween show this year calls for several windows to be broken, so we've built a special device used by live Foley people to safely create that effect.  However, we need quite a number of sections of scrap glass to use in it.

Basically, what we need is about 30 sections of a relatively-thin, easily-broken window-type glass.  The dimensions of the device will accommodate pieces up to about 11" x 11", but as long as one side is between 8" and 11", it should be fine.

Any information or assistance would be greatly appreciated.  Things like old windows, places that sell scrap or cheap glass...anything like that.  Better yet, if anyone works with glass and would be willing to cut pieces for our needs, that would be awesome.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Thanks!

Yom Kippur services

Does anyone know of a venue in Somerville that will be holding free Yom Kippur services on Thursday morning? A web search revealed that most of the temples in the Boston area expect a large (as in $200 or more) donation to attend, which is just not going to happen. (Some also say they won't turn you away for lack of funds, but I'm not going to pretend to be poor just to avoid giving an enormous "donation".) I'm not religious but I am choosing to fast this year and would like to attend some type of service, so any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

Is this your kitten?

I don't suppose anyone on Cameron Ave. is missing a small black kitten? I suspect it's feral, but I've managed to spook it 3 times so I think it's more or less sticking around Cameron near the Cambridge line. No way can I get close enough to photograph it, but I'm pretty sure it's either black or a really dark tabby.
