Sign up now to audition for Theatre@First's next main stage production, "The Lady's Not For Burning," a comedy in verse by Christopher Fry and directed by Renée Johnson. With a strong emphasis on the music and culture of Appalachia, our production brings this topsy-turvy day-in-the-life a little closer to home. Fry's themes of love and war, hope and despair, ignorance and intellect are universal, and this glimpse into the search for life's meaning is timeless.

Auditions will be held at Unity Church in Somerville on Nov 29, Dec 1 & 2.

Performances are February 10-26, 2011.

Empty Parking Lot on Broadway

Hey there! My sister is visiting us for Thanksgiving,... in her 73 foot long tractor trailer! I am trying to find a place for her to park her truck. Does anyone have contact info for the folks that own the old Shaw's lot? Alternately, does anyone know of a good place to park a tractor trailer that is on the T or a bus line?

Room for Jan 1st

Hi all, I've got someone moving out January 1st and I'm in the limbo of either needing to move or needing to get someone in, or both if the third roomie stays.

I'm in North Cambridge now and would like to move somewhere closer to Inman Square though obvi my <3 for Davis is still strong so I'd stay here too :)

A few things which have become sticking points are that I have a cat who doesn't enjoy doggies, and I don't want to pay up to $700 unless it's a mostly inclusive dreamland. The listed Craigslist ad is only pimping me, not the place since we're not all sure if we're staying or not. If you're more interested in the place than me, it's $570 and has a ton of space, I'm just ready for a change.
