Found: Black and white "tuxedo" cat [xpost:menotomy]

We've got a female black & white "tuxedo" cat here that wandered into our yard Thursday night (May 6), looking very confused. Since it seemed to be declawed (actually, it just has very well-trimmed claws) we took it in. The vet said the cat has been spayed, and could not find a microchip. No one has reported it missing to Animal Control.

Having heard nothing from the owner, we think it is an indoor/outdoor cat, and that it is often gone for long periods. (If so, not cool -- it doesn't have long enough claws to defend itself.) It is staying at a friend's house indefinitely, and if no one claims it, he's keeping it.

broadway and mass ave in cambridge or somerville? There's a cat that looks like this (I can't tell if it's the same cat) that's an indoor outdoor cat near beacon/cambridge st. in somerville not far from mass ave/broadway in cambridge. I see it out all of the time taking walks with its owners. I'll keep my eye out for the cat or any posters just in case it's the same one.
