Cross Country Skiing?

Hi All,

Does anyone know if the bike paths are passable on cross country skis?

Can any of you recommend some good cross country skiing around Davis and Teele Squares?

The snow has got to be good for something ;)

I saw someone cross-country skiing at Lake St. in Arligton today. Cambridge and Somerville often plow, and a quarter-mile or so past Alewife into Arlington is often plowed or at least heavily-enough trafficked to have melted, but past that no one plows, so there must be two or three feet of snow, which I assume makes them pretty passable by ski :).

albion street is skiable.... :D i would guess the bike path is too, mostly because i can't imagine the city would plow/shovel it that thoroughly....

Hee, um, everywhere? Or it will be, if you wait a few more minutes, I'm sure ...

Right down the middle of Elm Street, just like I saw someone doing Sunday. :-)

Yeah, I was going to say: around Midnight, Mass Ave should be great. :)

The bike path just about always gets plowed, but there's space on the side that I see people skiing in
