Free stuff on porch

Yard Sale + Rain = Yard Sale Fail.  :(

That said, there is a bunch of free stuff on our porch:

women's shoes (7.5 and 9), kitchen doodads, books and magazines, packing material (for when you move next week), kitchen chairs and stools and a leather office chair, some artwork,  possibly the dell printer is still there and some other electronics.

Where can you find all of this?

56/58 Bay State Ave.

Please be neat if you come to sift through the giveaways.  :)

Thanks, and happy rainy Sunday!

I live on Bay State Ave. Putting on shoes now and heading right over. :-)

Bummer. When I got there, one couple had already laid claim to most of it and were packing it up in their car. I didn't take anything. I don't think you'll have to worry about lots of leftovers by the time they're finished. :-)

no, i know what you mean. i get really pissy at the people who do the same with freecycle. people are known to beef up their yard sale offerings with what's offered there.

I agree. There was a definite "we got here first" vibe from the couple, even though no words were exchanged. The one item that caught my eye from the sidewalk was a lovely cooking pot that I would have used regularly in my kitchen, but by the time I got on the porch the wife had snatched it into the basket, which was already overflowing. I mean, come on. I know there are no firm rules with regard to trash picking or porch giveaways, but I only ever take things that I or my household will actually use, and I limit myself to one or two items. I love this neighborhood in part because we can exchange our treasures on the curb every week, but greedy people can ruin that pleasant opportunity.

Did you sell off the furniture, or are you waiting for a sunnier day?
