How do I unsubscribe from the robocalls???

I apologize, as this is kind of the antithesis of a Davis Square-centric post, but I moved out of Somerville several months ago, and I am still getting robocalls.  I have called the City of Somerville four times now to ask to be removed from the call-list, but I am still getting the calls.  Does anyone know of a way to unsubscribe from these?  I know it's just a few extra phone calls here and there, but when winter comes, I know they'll be coming more frequently to alert me of snow emergencies, and since I don't live in Somerville anymore, I don't really need the alerts.

If anyone has a lead, let me know.  Or, Tom or Jackie, if you are reading this...help???

Once you live in Somerville, you get the calls for life. Somerville sticks like glue. I would try changing your number.

If they keep ignoring your requests, I'd call the ResiStat head cheese: dhadley@somervillema.gov. 617-625-6600 (extension 2116).

I emailed 311 and they got back to me superfast (4 hours) and told me my number was removed. No more calls since then.

Send a note to 311Updates@somervillema.gov or Carlene Campbell CCampbell@somervillema.gov.. they update the CTY connect system that does the robocalls.

I phoned 311 and was removed within a week or so. What I don't yet know is whether they did what I actually asked: remove me from everything except the snow emergency list. (Snow emergency notification being what I thought I signed up for in the first place, as it was the only thing I could imagine wanting to know about real time, rather than being content to learn about when I read my email. I just hope it doesn't cost me a $100 ticket this winter to find out that no, in fact, they didn't keep me on the snow emergency list.)

If you signed up with an email address you might try the link (https://portal.blackboardconnectcty.com/welcome.aspx?eiid=1207B6088C3473A4637E) off the lower right corner of the front page of the S'ville website. (http://www.somervillema.gov/)

That said, it didn't work for me.

At some point I signed up to get texts sent to my cell phone and I can't seem to get it to stop. I even called and complained and said I can read the newspaper for construction they're doing three days from now; really I just need updates that are emergency in nature. But the 311 operator really didn't understand *why* I would want some updates and just said "that's the way it is," and didn't offer to pass on my specific complaint (since he didn't seem to get it). le sigh.
