Note: Today, it may be warm enough to shovel snow into the street

The city prohibits people shoveling snow into the street UNLESS the mean temperature is over 40F. Wunderground says it's 44F, now. If your street is hazardously narrow (or even if it's not), consider going out and scraping back a few snowbanks so that emergency vehicles can more easily get down the street. Hopefully you won't need it from having a show-shoveling-induced heart attack.

ETA: the temp today has ranged from 36F to 44F, but it's unclear if that actually qualifies as a mean temperature of >40F.

My whole neighborhood shoveled a bunch of the mountains of snow out into the street today and it is all melted. We get a lot of sun though.
