Seeking gaming group

Are there any P&P RPG or board gaming groups looking for new blood? I am quite fond of both, and as Pandemonium Books seems a little slow at the moment I thought I'd start looking close to home. Anybody need a new player?

Check with Comicazi. They've started hosting gaming nights as well.

Pen & paper. These are the role playing games that you play using sheets to keep track of your character's status, their health, various points, or what have you. Compare to a game that has cards that you move around on the table to keep track of your status, or video games that keep track of things for you.

Imagine original Dungeons & Dragons.

Huh! Never heard that idiom before. I've always heard them called "tabletop" to differentiate them from "live action". Learn something new every day.

Hi,

I've got a group that meetings in Central, however two of us are having babies in the next month so we're about to go on hiatus for a bit. However we're definitely interested in adding players so if you want to send me an email introducing yourself and telling me about what kind of games you enjoy we can see where things are at when we start back up. My email is stormyknight @ gmail dot com.

I've only been to Pandemonium's open Wednesday gaming night once, but that was this week and it seemed pretty packed.

By the way, someone else asked a similar question two months ago, so you two may want to get together.

I'm probably gonna try to jump-start my tabletop gaming soon, I've just been wicked busy in the ramp-up to PAX. If you're not already a member of Bostongamers, you might consider joining -- it's a great local resource, even if it does tend to be a bit quiet these days.

I recently wrote about what may be the longest-running P&P RPG (WTF LOL etc.) in the Boston area, and the players are theoretically interested in adding new members, though they haven't done so in a long time. The game master and his wife are both on LJ. story (http://www.boston.com/yourtown/news/somerville/2010/12/the_dwarves_and_goblins_of.html) | game info site (http://www.powderhouse.com/~wdew/laratoa/index.html)
