2 Dykey Guinea Pigs Available for Adoption

Sadly, I have become allergic to my two adorable guinea pigs and I need to find a new home for them.

Zoe and Zelda are in a commited lesbian relationship and need to go to a new home together. Zoe has smooth caramel colored fur and Zelda has ruffled dark brown and white fur. I'm not sure on their exact ages, but based on when I got them I would estimate Zoe is 3 and Zelda is 4. They're healthy good natured squeakers who are curious and extremely adorable.

The pigs like to be held, but they get squeakily anxious if they can't see each other. Their favorite things to do are shred newspaper, devour carrots, and stare at humans.

If you are interested in adopting them, please let me know. They come with a good sized cage (that has a pig observation deck), bedding, food, and hay. I have the cubes to make a super pig cage that I will also include with the adoption.

they sound wonderful. my best friend has had guinea pigs for many years until she moved to cambridge. I have been planning on getting her pigs as a rather-belated christmas gift (she is aware of this, i wouldn't give someone pets without consent) and i am sure she will appreciate their relationship.

email me at laura47 at mit.edu ?

also, my condolences on your allergies. I know how terrible that can be. :-(

They are terribly cute, and I hope you find a wonderful home for them! I'd love them, but I don't think they'd be a good mix with my 18-month old son, who might love them a little too...enthusiastically. I really wouldn't want to subject a piggy to that!
