boxes for top hats?

i have a top hat that i want to take on vacation in october, but short of wearing it on the plane i'm not sure how to get it there uncrushed. i don't really want to pack it in my suitcase unless i absolutely have to. are there places i can buy a hatbox for it, so i can carry it on the plane in relative safety? i have a car so it doesn't necessarily have to be a t-accessible place.

How large of a box are you looking for? I have a shipping box that my Cavalier hat came in, but it is nearly 2ft on all 3 sides. It has plenty of packing peanuts in it, and might not be suitable as a carry-on, but might be good enough for cargo. If you want it, it is yours, and it is very near Teele Square.

i measured mine when i got home - mostly measured it, anyway - and i think two feet a side is way too big a box for it. but thank you! (i might wear it on the plane. someone is going to find that weird as hell, and it will probably be me.)
