New family dental office in East Somerville! No judgment, no lectures.

Hi, everyone!  Dr. Rosie Wagner here.  I'm thrilled to announce that my new dental office is open and now accepting patients!  You may have seen the dust and construction over at the McGrath/Broadway intersection over the last few months.  I live in Davis and I plan on this being my only office, so we're pretty hooked on Somerville.  Come on by!

Here's the blurb from my web site:

"Smiles By Rosie Family Dentistry is a general practice dental office, treating patients from birth onward. Has it been a while since your last dental visit? We don't judge or lecture. We provide comprehensive dentistry in a warm, reassuring, and educational setting. We listen to you. We explain the why and how of your treatment options and let you have a say in your oral health."

I'm in-network for Mass Health, Delta, BC/BS, Aetna, Cigna, MetLife, and Guardian.  (also take Care Credit).  All ages are welcome, and I do all types of comprehensive dentistry, including root canals, surgery, and cosmetics.  Come on by to 6 Kensington Ave, call the office at (617) 623-2100, or email me at office@smilesbyrosie.com.

Agreed! I walk past this new office on my way to and from Sullivan every day, and when I first saw the sign saying that bit about not judging or lecturing, I applauded mentally. :)

Completely seconded - I'm also a big fan of "reality-based dentists" who respect patients' financial circumstances and can create prioritized care plans and clear financial policies. Hope she does well!

Wow, your office sounds nifty. If I weren't tied to a different (also good!) practice by my insurance, I'd give you a try.

Oh HI... we're moving, and my current dentist (while awesome) would be a bit of a trek, and you'd be very close.

Think I'll be checking this out, thanks!

How nice!
Congratulations!
How much will it cost to install the seal?

Oh, fantastic! I've been looking for a new dentist in the area. I had an extraordinarily traumatic experience as a teenager (short version is that I was forgotten, with my mouth propped open for a procedure, for over an hour). Since then I've always had to hunt out gentle dentists. I hate being lectured about my bleeding gums (a genetically inherited issue, not lack of proper care) and the condescending attitudes even more. I'll be in touch once I'm back from an overseas trip.

How nice that you take MassHealth! Is someone in the office NO2 licensed?

User [livejournal.com profile] hermionesviolin referenced to your post from [Pentecost +7] (http://hermionesviolin.livejournal.com/1609494.html) saying: [...] yn's current dentist is kind of a misogynist. I told her about Smiles By Rosie Family Dentistry [...]
